ABOUT ME

Professor of Management Information Systems at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, University of Patras, Greece. Undergraduate studies in Computer and Information Engineering (5 years B.Sc., 1989) and graduate studies in Operations Management (Ph.D., 1993), both at University of Patras, Greece. Before joining University of Patras (August 2000), he worked as Visiting Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Computer Science, University of Cyprus, and as Research Associate at EPFL – LITH (Switzerland), INRIA – Sophia Antipolis (France), GMD – AiS (Germany), and Queen Mary & Westfield College (UK). Editor of a recent Springer book on Mastering Data-Intensive Collaboration and Decision Making. Scientific Coordinator of the Dicode FP7-ICT project. Skilled in Business Intelligence, Explainable Artificial Intelligence, Recommender Systems and Computer-Supported Cooperative Work.
